Subject: Concerns Regarding CCNY Shuttle Service

Hello Transportation Department,

As a student at CCNY and a frequent user of the shuttle service, I am writing to bring to your attention some concerns about the current shuttle system. The limited number of shuttles available, the small sizes of buses, and the lack of a real-time shuttle tracking system are negatively affecting the shuttle service. The overcrowding and long wait times, especially during peak hours, are causing significant delays and negatively affecting the daily routines of individuals, leaving them uncertain about when the next shuttle will arrive, causing stress and wasting time.To address these issues, I recommend increasing the number of shuttle buses, increasing the sizesof the buses, and implementing a real-time shuttle tracking system. The tracking system would allow students to know the exact location of the shuttles and their estimated arrival time, which would help them better plan their schedules. This system could be integrated into the existing CCNY mobile application or website, making it easy for students to access the information. Increasing the number of shuttle buses would also help to reduce overcrowding and wait times, resulting in an improved shuttle experience for students.I urge the Transportation Department to take these recommendations into consideration and make the necessary changes. The shuttle service is a crucial part of the CCNY experience, and improvements to the service would have a significant impact on the daily lives of the CCNY community members.
